This bootcamp is reverse-engineered from real job postings for three roles. Here's what each one actually does day-to-day, a typical US pay range, and exactly which classes and capstones get you there — so "cloud engineer" stops being a word and starts being a plan. Starting from zero? Most people begin toward the Administrator end and climb; a focused six to twelve months of building, around a job, is a realistic run at a first offer. The Start-here path is the first two weeks of that. Coming from another career, your existing domain knowledge is an on-ramp, not a reset.

Azure Administrator

What you'll do

Keep an organisation's Azure estate running and safe. You manage identities and RBAC, virtual networks and DNS, storage and compute, backups and recovery — and you own the monitoring that catches trouble before users feel it. The dependable operator every cloud team needs first.

Cloud Engineer

What you'll do

Design and build cloud systems end to end — infrastructure as code, networking, security, and the pipelines that ship it. Where the Administrator keeps things running, you decide how they're built. This is the track the Exhibit A posting on the landing page was written for, and the whole 42-class course maps to it.

DevOps Engineer

What you'll do

Own how software reaches production — safely, repeatably, and fast. Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and the observability that keeps releases from becoming incidents. The role that makes "deploy on a Friday" a non-event.

How to read these numbers Ranges are US, entry-to-mid, and deliberately conservative — several sources report much higher averages that fold in senior and architect pay. Compensation swings hard by country, city, industry, and the strength of your portfolio — outside the US, check your local market rate rather than these figures. Treat these as an honest floor-to-getting-good band, not a promise. The certificate proves you did the work; the three capstones are what move you toward the top of the range.
For hiring managers A CAMPUX certificate is a named, dated credential you can check yourself — no account, no login. Each one carries a unique ID and links to a public verification page that confirms the holder's name and the date of issue. It attests that this person finished all forty-two classes — infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, observability, security, cost management, AI infrastructure — not that they watched a playlist.

It is not a stand-in for their work. The three capstones are real build briefs the candidate owns and hosts themselves — so ask to see the repository or the live resource, and have them walk you through one decision they made and one they reversed. The certificate tells you they did the course; the capstone conversation tells you how they think.
